Ortensia's Senior Living offers a variety of services to meet your individual needs. We encourage independence and personal dignity for each person, but as assistance is needed, our personal care attendants are available to provide help with activities of daily living such as:
Bathing (assistance in and out of the shower or tub and help with washing your hair or back)
Dressing (assistance with selecting clothing, fastening buttons or zippers, tying shoes and putting on garments)
Grooming (assistance with hair care, shaving, makeup, jewelry, and other finishing touches)
Medications (assistance with taking prescribed medications at appropriate times, monitoring the need for refills, etc.)
Assistance with outside appointments (Contacting your physician(s) and arranging transportation to and from your appointment)
Arranging outside supplemental services (Assistance contacting various home health agencies and equipment suppliers to provide specialized care that may be required for your individual needs)
Monitoring throughout the day
Social and recreational activities
Nutrition - through fully balanced home cooked meals
We develop a personalized daily plan for each person to focus on his or her individual needs. We want to work with you, through the goals set forth on your care plan, we wish to maximize your well being and independence.
When you come to live at Ortensia's, we can reduce the stress on you and your family. We can take away the worry of household tasks, coordinating appointments and services, and the fear of being alone in an emergency. We are staffed 24-hours a day by trained personal care attendants who are prepared to respond appropriately and professionally in any situation.
